Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that we are excited to announce that we are currently working on the MOPS at Real Life Blog. It will be under construction until we meet on October 6th, where we will reveal the new Blog.

Our first meeting of 09/10!!

Can I just say.... WOW!!! The Lord completely blew away our expectations for attendance!! We were prepared for 60 some women, but ended up with 80 or so!! Keep inviting your friends, neighbors, co-workers, family... good things are happening at MOPS at Real Life!! (I know the pic above is a bit grainy, but I "borrowed" it from Erin R.'s FB upload!! Thanks Erin!! We will have better pics in the future compliments of Kristie!)

Thanks to the Steering team and Discussion Group Leaders for providing a yummy breakfast and paper products!!

Our day started with a fun ice breaker that allowed us to be transparent! It was called "have you ever?" It was a fun way to get to know each other... and perhaps use their answers against each other in the future!! Just kidding!! :o)

We then watched a message from MOPS international and went right into our video lesson! The topic: Bridging the gap between planet ME and planet MOM! Whew... what a hard concept and balance! I love the story of the little boy calling out MMOOMMYY!!!!!! When she really listened to him calling and broke it down... he was saying MOM ME!! You can't have one with out the other to be the best at both! You need to be a "ME" to be a great "MOM"!! I love that!!

I hope you have put your bible verse that Lydia talked about in a great place to be read each day!! We will have a new one next meeting!!

This is just the beginning girls-- It is going to be a great year! The Lord is doing and will continue to do great things in the lives of Central Florida moms and their families!! Don't forget to join us for our next meeting on Oct. 6 at 9:30 am ! The topic: Cutting Corners!
