You're Invited to Christmas Eve at Real Life
UPDATE: Wow! The service was fantastic! I loved the music and the whole worship experience really got me thinking about the lyrics to one of the last songs that we sang..."I will never be the same"
I know that I'm not the same person that I was last year - I am a better mom, a better wife, a follower of Christ that is pressing deeper into Him. I hope that I can say the same words as each month passes...I will never be the same...
Real Life is hosting 4 Christmas Eve Services.
I hope that you will join us!
3:00, 4:30, 6:00, and 7:30pm

December 16th Recap
SHOP. WRAP. NAP. was a great success! The kids seemed to have a blast and all of the moms came back with smiles on their faces. It was so much fun to bless you girls with 2 hours of free time.
The kids were busy with some crafts and movies...I hope that they shared their little masterpeices with you! I think that they turned our super-cute!
Some moms went shopping, others got their hair done, a few used their time to wrap presents at home.
I hope that you have a Merry Christmas!

Funds for Teen MOPS
UPDATE: December called to say that the girls were blown away...GREAT JOB! That's the reaction that I was going for. December is able to see that the acts of kindness shown to these girls are softening their hearts....that's the way it should be!
OH...and only 5 girls came, so we'll have the remaining mani/pedi as a giveaway at one of our upcoming meetings...best wishes to the winner. :)
You girls really went above and beyond. I am so thankful to belong to such an amazing group of moms that are willing to spare some change (literally) to reach out to another MOPS group in our area...especially a Teen MOPS group!
We collected over $300 for the Teen MOPS moms! THREE HUNDRED dollars. Y'all just bless me by blessing them.
After talking with December, the Teen MOPS Coordinator, we (MOPS at Real Life) purchased 6 manicure & pedicure combos for the girls that were planning to attend the Teen MOPS Christmas Party. A local day spa gave me a little discount, so that made it even sweeter!December was just beside herself with our generosity when she saw the gifts for the young moms. :) She wanted for me to extend a huge "THANK YOU" to each of you!

A Formal Affair?
It is the season for some special parties and snazzy evenings out...do you have the proper attire? Renee had a wonderful idea of helping some moms out by allowing them to borrow some formal dresses...
Aubergine Dress is Ankle length with a low back. It has a opalescent sheen. It is simple, fluid and elegant.
Chocolate Dress has a velvet accent at the bust. Ankle length. Very flattering.
Pewter Two Piece is great. Ankle length skirt with simply tailored top. Open back with button details. Fantastic New Years dress.
If you would like to borrow any of these three dresses, please contact me at reneetindol (at) gmail (dot) com.
I had a thought after a conversation we had at our table today. I have several gowns that are real nice and pretty timeless. I wanted to make them available to MOPS moms to borrow one for a Christmas or New Years gala. It would be nice to know my wardrobe would be out having a good time for the holidays instead of staring at the back of my closet.
Here are the dresses I have. The photo’s don’t do them justice. They should all be about a size 6.

December 2 Recap
Merry Christmas MOPS Moms!
We had a fanastic Christmas Brunch. The food was yummy and the conversations lively! Your gift to me of singing Christmas carols was a fun highlight for me...even though I did have to convince a few that we were having fun! The mug exchange was a hit! I am so proud of you girls...over 40 moms and not one of you forgot your mug! That's impressive! It was amazing to me to see how many of you already have your Christmas tree/lights up by December 2nd...you go girls!
Jodi Vermaas shared an awesome message about Christ's birth, His fulfilling of the prophecy's and that He alone can help us find peace in the midst of our day to day lives. By taking a closer look at who Jesus is, our lives can be changed...forever! Jodi's friend, Jenn, shared a heartfelt song of "Mary Did You Know?"
We closed out the meeting "In the spirit of giving....":
- Giving to Teen MOPS - over $300 was collected in our piggy banks/spare change containers.
- MOPS at Real Life giving each attendee an ornament from the tree.
- Giving the gift of Free Time to SHOP, WRAP, or NAP for our next meeting on December 16th. See the evite invitation for complete details.
Merry Christmas and may you remember the True Reason for this holiday season!
